Today we finished the last of the 8 or 10 boxes of Count Chocula cereal we bought (or were given, hehe) during the month of October, the only month that they sell such chocolatey goodness. We know it's November at our house when all that cereal gets eaten. Soooo good.
I think November means the same thing to a lot of people: stomachaches. As a spoiled society, we here in the United States make ourselves luxuriously suffer by celebrating not one but two stomach-cramping events in the same month: the epic day-after-Halloween candy belly and Thanksgiving. Being 32 weeks pregnant this week it seems I'm in a constant state of full-belly anyway, but I still like November.
Something I look forward to once having this baby is the ability to wear normal pants again. Maternity pants are comfortable but I miss being able to go to the bank and not be caught on camera trying to hike up my pants as the toddler in my arms tries to reach for the piggy bank on display.
Boston's newest word is "Aw-ser", his version of our dog Boxster. It's almost like he breathes the name, which is why it took us so long to figure out what he was saying. Now that Boston knows the name, every dog that is black and white is called "Aw-ser". "Aw-ser" is the thought that gets Boston to willingly climb out of the grocery cart so we can go home. "Aw-ser" is the first thing Boston looks for when he gets up in the morning (besides breakfast and his rocking horse). They tumble, they wrestle, they cuddle, they growl (yes, I've heard them growl at each other before). The dog may just tolerate him, but he loves Boxster. At least the dog isn't lonely anymore. :)
