Pull-ups are called "potty trains" by Boston. We've been trying to get him to use the potty for awhile but while he'll use it, and we sometimes have success, mostly he just declares a very loud "NO THANK YOU" to the very suggestion of sitting on his kid-sized potty pot.
Today I brainstormed ideas to help him understand that not using diaper anymore is the big boy thing to do and all I could come up with was an analogy to brushing his teeth. It feels good when you brush your teeth, I explained, right? And you know how you don't like poop in your diaper? If you poop in the potty it feels good too.
That was this morning. Tonight he emerged after using the potty to go number one and spouted this little gem. If he only knew the kind material we get to share with his girlfriends someday...
