I was ready to go out to visiting teaching, a monthly event where another lady and I go visit three other ladies in our ward, when I could resist the urge no longer. From the bathroom I heard the doorbell ring and I called out, "Come on in, Karen, I'll be right out!"

Oddly I heard no reply. I said it again. The door opened and someone came in but I still didn't get a reply. Strange, I thought. It wasn't like her to be so quiet.

As I washed my hands Danny came in the house, which was followed by a silent moment, and then his head appeared in the doorway. He looked confused. "Did you let her in?"

"Yes...why, did she leave?" I hurried to the empty living room.
"She was just standing here silently holding some of our mail and when I took it she left," Danny continued. Now I was really confused.
"Who?"
"Our neighbor."
