Now that so many things have happened since our last entry I'm starting to think I should start writing more than once every two weeks. There's so much to remember! I'll try to think of a family quote as we go on.
I'll start with this: getting rid of this green couch pretty much changed our lives.
Since then, our condo has become more spacious and roomy enough for Boston to have his own room for the very first time! A simple shifting around of furniture we already have has transformed our tiny place into a more functional home. Here's a peek:
Along with these fun new changes looms CPA test part 3 of 4. Danny continues to study in the mornings and evenings for a few hours at a time while Boston and I keep ourselves busy with trying to get everything back in order since room shift.
I can't take all the credit here--Danny leaned him up against the chaise and Boston did the rest. How did I get so blessed to have such a fun-loving family?
Moving on...
My birthday (as you may recall, wink) celebration with Danny was a super blast! We went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner, saw a movie called "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" (it was okay) and a secret "someone" left a brand new sewing machine on my doorstep. I heard the doorbell ring and Danny told me someone was here to see me. When I asked him why the door was closed with someone standing outside he said they asked him to close it. LOL! When I opened the door...there was a brand new sewing machine with a tiny bow stuck on top.
I love my husband.
What will I sew? I can think of a pillowcase or two to match Boston's new bedroom. Or maybe I'll give a blanket a try. Or if I'm feeling really adventurous I might just try making our own bedspread. We've been looking for a nice one for a long time with no luck--and that leads me to a family quote I was looking for!"You know what we did when we couldn't find a baby, right? We made one!" (wink)
