Friends

Recently Boston started asking Wendy and me questions about all kinds of different things. It is so much fun watching him develop and show an interest in learning. There are two questions in particular that he likes to ask, and when he asks them, they make me smile. The two questions are: "daddy, are you my friend?" and "daddy, are you happy?"

I love hearing these questions from him and I always answer "yes" to the first one and "yes" most of the time to the second one (I should answer "yes" to the second one more often as really I don't have any reason not to be happy with all the blessings in my life).

Anyway, my friend Boston and I love to play. We play action figures, blocks, guitar (he plays the electric and I play acoustic), soccer, baseball, basketball, football, bikes, dancing, and the list goes on.

Boston, you really are my friend and I hope we can remain friends forever. Love daddy.
