Uh-oh (he's been saying this one since he was like 10 months old)
Baby - pronounced "Bebee"
Ball - pronounced "Bal"
Apple - pronounced "Bapple"
Doggy
Dog
Woof
Puppy - pronounced "Buppy"
What's that? - pronounced "Zat?"
Mmmm (that describes how good whatever he's eating)
Ducky
Yeah
What?
Where did it go? (This one usually comes out as a jumble of sounds, but he raises his palms in the air and tilts his head when he says it.)
His knowledge of the world is skyrocketing!
Even though he doesn't know how to say the words for everything, he understands so much. If you ask him where is binky is, he'll show you. If you hold out a pair of pants for him to put on, he lifts up one of his chunky little legs. He knows who "Grandma" is (both of them). When he finds a comb or a brush--even the lint roller brush--he'll tap it on his head. He tickles his toes with a nail file. He even points the remote control at the TV whether it's turned on or not.
For those of you on the verge of deciding whether or not you want children, do it. Children are awesome in ways you can't know until you have your own.
(Also, I'll give you two thumbs up if you know where the quote in the title of this post came from and didn't use Google to find the answer...)
