No, it's not my party but I kind of wish it was. Who doesn't want to touch a parade float with their bare hands? Crepe paper and foam statues bring back fond memories of art class in elementary school. The fresh smell of Elmer's glue, the pungent aroma of cafeteria food down the hall, the creak of abused library books....ahhhhh.
It's the Days of '47 Parade Preview Party at the South Towne Expo center! The last time I went to a real parade was when I was a kid, so I'm that much more excited to see the floats up close for the first time. I'll post some pictures later this week probably.
